MATHCOUNTS ALUMNI SCHOLARSHIP
A $3000 award presented to an alumnus/a whose experience in
MATHCOUNTS was influential.
Who Can Apply?
A senior in high school who will graduate in the spring/summer of the year of the scholarship, or
Pursuing a 2- or 4-year degree at an accredited community college, college or university (at any year in the program), or
Pursuing graduate level studies at an accredited college or university (at any year in the program).
To complete the application, you will need to input your basic information, information for up to 3 extracurriculars, information for up to 3 awards, and a 750-1000 word essay answering one of the following questions:
- If you volunteered for MATHCOUNTS after participating in middle school, describe your role and explain why it was meaningful and how it impacted you.
- Describe your favorite memory from your time in MATHCOUNTS and explain why it was meaningful and how it impacted you.
- What did you learn from participating in MATHCOUNTS that you have used or believe you will use the most in the future?
