Operations with fractions are often hard for students to conceptualize...A-maze-ing Fractions to the rescue! With maze boards and 4 basic arithmetic operations, Mathletes can begin to uncover the secrets of fractions by finding a path that results in the least value or the greatest value. Bonus: This activity includes Google Classroom-compatible resources!

Materials Needed
  • 1 maze board per student, pair or group
  • 1 pencil or dry-erase marker for each student
  • Scratch paper (optional)
