MATHEMAGICIANS - PUBLIC RECAP
Exploration Recap
Mathemagicians is a great way for students to practice translating word problems into algebraic equations and to understand the concept of inverse operations. Your students will be amazed at first by what appears to be magic...but they will come to understand that the tricks can be explained using algebra. Mathletes can come up with their own magic examples to impress their friends and families and become true mathemagicians! Bonus: This activity includes Google Classroom-compatible resources!
Materials Needed
- 1 Mathemagicians handout per student or group
- 1 writing utensil per student
- Scratch paper
- Dry-erase board and markers (optional)
