MATHCOUNTS SHOWCASE - PUBLIC RECAP
Motivate all your Mathletes by showcasing their problem-solving skills
Every student that participates in the MATHCOUNTS Competition Series deserves to be celebrated for their growth and progress, whether or not they advance to or place at the Chapter Competition.
The MATHCOUNTS Showcase is a new opportunity for students from your school to showcase their math skills and be recognized outside of the 4 official levels of the Competition Series. Each month, every MATHCOUNTS student at your school can participate in solving a 5-question problem set to earn recognition for your school, plus awards and entry into prize drawings.
Why Participate
- Open to all Competition Series schools and included for free with registration.
- Open to any students attending your school’s MATHCOUNTS team meetings and practices, not just chapter competitors.
- 6 opportunities to participate (November – April).
- Problem sets covering a range of math topics, including algebra, geometry, number theory, measurement and counting & probability.
- Extra recognition for schools that participate in all 6 monthly showcases and for schools that have a cumulative score of 50+ points (out of 120).
Not a coach yet? Let's fix that!
Only registered competition schools can participate in the MATHCOUNTS Showcase. Fortunately, for you, the Competition Series is open to all US schools with in grades 6-8 students, and registration costs as little as $40 ($20 for Title I schools).
