Exploration Recap

For years, the Monty Hall Problem has been debated and examined. In Let's Make an Educated Guess, Mathletes will play out the scenario from the game show Let's Make a Deal and use mathematical reasoning to decide: Should you switch? Should you not switch? Or is it a 50/50 chance either way?

Materials Needed
  • 3 numbered "doors" (we used cups) for each group
  • 2 bad prizes (we used bingo tokens) for each group
  • 1 good prize (we used a fun eraser) for each group
  • 1 Win or Lose Tally sheet for each group
  • 1 pencil for each group
  • Computer with internet access (optional)

Not a club leader yet? Let's fix that!
