MATHCOUNTS Alumni Scholarship
Scholarship Eligibility
Who Can Apply?
This scholarship is open to U.S. students who are MATHCOUNTS alumni and are (or will be) enrolled in an accredited college/university. See below for specific information:
MATHCOUNTS Alumni
MATHCOUNTS alumni are students who participated in at least one of the following programs when they were in grades 6-8:

MATHCOUNTS Competition Series (formerly MATHCOUNTS Competition Program) at the school, chapter, state or national level

The National Math Club (formerly MATHCOUNTS Club Program)

Math Video Challenge (formerly Reel Math Challenge)
College/University Students
To apply for this scholarship, students must currently be one of the following:

Seniors in high school, meaning a student currently enrolled in school who will graduate in the spring/summer of the year of the scholarship.

Pursuing a 2- or 4-year degree at an accredited community college, college or university (at any year in the program)

Pursuing graduate level studies at an accredited college or university (at any year in the program)
Additional Information

Application + Deadline
The 2020 application is due on Friday, November 15, 2019 at 11:59PM (or postmarked).

Award Disbursement
The entire $3,000 award will be paid directly to the scholarship recipient’s (community) college or university, and can be disbursed either as:
- A one-time payment
- Installments (for example, $750 per year to a 4-year college)
If a student is graduating from his/her (community) college or university the year the scholarship is awarded, then the award can be put toward existing tuition bills or graduate school. Find additional information about this in the Authorization Form included in the application.
